The Names of people who are being honored or memorialized have begun to be wood burned on the stair risers. We have had a dedication for our new "Stairway to Heaven". Each name is permanently burned into the wood with a prayer for that person and those who honor them.
Winners of Riverside Church Angel Coloring Contest
Winners of the recent coloring Contest have been announced and their art has been framed for hanging in the Riverside Community Church 238 Freeman Road in Oxford. The first prize went to Corrin Danielecki, second prize went to Jasmine Franco the winners received awards
The Church has chosen an Angel as the symbol for their prayer and blessing request phone and email lines and for their ANGEL INITATIVE fund raising programs scheduled for to continue through the year.
Riverside Community Church a non-denominational Christian Church with a long history in Oxford needs to raise funds to add a stairway & complete repairs to their building. The proceeds from the fund raising programs will be used to update and repair the post -card pretty historical country church building in Oxford, CT and to support the continuation of their ministry and programs for the area community.
Regular Sunday 9 AM services offer a comfortable and slightly casual worship experience open to any person in need of spiritual connection.. A children's story time and then Sunday school is open to children during a portion of the weekly service. Families can enjoy fellowship and coffee/refreshments after the worship service.
