Take your gently used items there to donate. Also a GREAT place to shop.
Make a donation of furniture, house hold items, clothes, jewelery or any thing that you can and let them know that you are donating for (partner) Riverside Community Church and the items will be coded with our code and when purchased we will be given a portion of the money.
When you make a Donation Acknowledgement form(s) are emailed to us at the Church to send thank you/acknowledgements to you. Remember, you do not have to assign any values. The donor is able to take a tax deduction for income tax purposes at the fair market value of the items being donated. It is the donor’s responsibility to assign a value to their donations
(suggested values are available through the Salvation Army Website).
As of October 15th, the Furniture Bank is in a new location: 85a State Street, North Haven, CT (behind King Acres Plaza). Until further notice, it will be available Mondays from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm, Wednesdays from 12 noon – 4:00 pm, and Saturdays, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Please call 203-782-4800 first to make an appointment if you have someone in need of the Furniture Bank.
